This is a pro-bono volunteer position.

JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8.

The School Omboarding Specialist provides customer service support to the schools, help the school through their onboarding and provides information and feedback to the school after the account is initiated.

• Manage middle schools onboarding  as they begin their partnership with JerseySTEM.
• Effectively communicate with school liaisons to assist in the onboarding process
• Partner with other team members  before, during and after the onboarding process to ensure effective program set-up
• Help the school process:
• The Memorandum of Understanding
• The parents flyers
• The students roster

• Genuine concern about/interest in solving the STEM education gender gap
• Ability to establish and maintain connections with area schools
• Resourceful, can-do attitude
• Experience with K-12 schools as a parent, former student professionally
• Outreach experience preferred
• Comfort working in a ‘virtual organization’ with digital tools (G-Suite, Slack, Jira, salesforce)
• Would be a plus if candidate has flexible schedule to allow for day time calls with the school admins during the work week
