Overview

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.

 

In this role, the Salesforce Lead/Administrator role for JerseySTEM will perform all design, analysis, implementation, integration and support duties related to the JerseySTEM Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Create, delete, and administer users in Salesforce
  • Create and administer organizational configurations in Salesforce
  • Configure objects and fields
  • Configure reports and dashboards
  • Configure work-flow and business processes as needed
  • Collaborate with the JerseySTEM Engagement and JerseySTEM Salesforce teams
  • Understand and use the Sandbox vs. Production properly
  • Assist with/implement data migrations into Salesforce objects (i.e. via Data Loader or Data Import Wizard or appropriate tools)
  • Document Salesforce processes 
  • Provide training and training support documentation related to Salesforce
  • Continue to monitor the ‘integrity’ and ‘simplicity’ of the Salesforce environment
  • Determine and communicate impact of changes before implementing them on the Salesforce platform
  • Document all change requests
  • Use other JerseySTEM tools as needed while part of the Salesforce and JerseySTEM teams, i.e. JIRA, GMAIL, etc.

Qualifications

  • Salesforce Configuration and Administration; Process Builder; Workflow Rule; Force.com; Visualforce; Apex
  • Integrations via Connectors and/or APIs
  • Data Loader
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator; Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (bonus
  • Be willing and eager to proactively seek and accept help from inside and outside the organization. Can work independently.
  • Focused on the end goal (serving the underprivileged middle school girls), not the process.
  • Experience with documenting and training others on the task at hand (interns, new volunteers).
  • Customer Service oriented.
  • 7-10 hours/week
