Overview

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.  It is not suitable for interns.

 

JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.

 

Our Salesforce Administrators configure and enhance our Salesforce objects, integrations and automations, enabling the accurate and timely record-keeping that permits us to fund and host STEM education clubs.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure system, including objects, fields, and external client apps
  • Build and maintain Flows, including record-triggered and scheduled flows
  • Design and execute complete data imports of related data
  • Assist with software testing and documentation.
  • Attend virtual team meetings Thursdays 6:10pm EST

Qualifications

  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science would be advantageous.
  • 3 years of experience as a Salesforce administrator in a similar environment.
  • Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
  • Experience in building Salesforce Flows
  • Ability to create and maintain Salesforce objects and fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities.
  • Working knowledge of object, field, and sharing security
  • Knowledge of importing and exporting data
  • Willingness to learn the JerseySTEM data and provide end-user support.

 

Requirements

All users of our Salesforce org use remote sites and apps to access the data instead of the trandtional Salesforce UI.  Expertise in the following Salesforce tools will not be required:

  • Reports. Dashboards and List Views
  • Page layout and Lightning Page configurations
  • Security based on Roles and Public Groups
