We provide free after-school, project-based, and hands-on structured programs in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Classes include: Robotics, Coding, Engineering, Life Sciences, etc. Classes last up to 10 weeks and are predominantly taught by trained volunteer college students.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is seeking a Lab Sciences Team Member/Curriculum Designer to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our STEM education offerings for underrepresented middle school girls. As the Lab Sciences Team Member/Curriculum Designer, you will be creating engaging and hands-on lab sciences curriculum to inspire and educate young minds.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is seeking a Lab Sciences Curriculum Team Lead to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our STEM education offerings for underrepresented middle school girls. As the Lab Sciences Curriculum Team Lead, you will lead a team in creating engaging and hands-on lab sciences curriculum to inspire and educate young minds.  

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   As a member of a team of 3-4 volunteers, develop and/or acquire as well as improve STEM Engineering Outreach Program curriculum to be delivered to middle school girls (grades 5-8) who are in underserved communities.  (The Outreach Programs are typically delivered as after-school programs following a fall/spring semester schedule.)  

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   Lead team of 3-4 volunteers to develop and/or acquire as well as improve Engineering STEM Outreach Program curriculum to be delivered to middle school girls (grades 5-8) who are in underserved communities.  (The Outreach Programs are typically delivered as after-school programs following a fall/spring semester schedule.)

This role plays a crucial part in our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls, fostering their interest and skills in robotics and technology.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM provides free after school STEM classes to underserved middle school girls grade 5-8.   The Program Delivery Coordinator makes sure the logistics of the program are running smoothly during the 10 weeks of the class. She/He is the regular contact to the Program Instructors and the School Liaison. The After school- Program Delivery Coordinator ensures that the weekly outreach programs in their area of responsibility are scheduled to run each work, have needed resources, answer questions, and troubleshoot problems.    This is a virtual position that supports in-person STEM enrichment programs for middle school girls/kids and needs to be available from 3 pm-5 pm ( Wednesday or Thursday) at least one weekday over a 12 week period of time.

This is a pro-bono volunteer position.   JerseySTEM is looking for talented professionals across our departments to commit time and energy as long-term engagement for our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls.   The Area manager is assigned a geographic area where she/he will be in charge of reaching out to the schools in that area  and engaging with Middle Schools of interest  that could benefit from our afterschool STEM programs for underserved middle school Girls. They manage a team of Community Managers, responsible for specific regions or specific schools

Boys and Girls Clubs, the Urban League, Casa San Pedro…and explore ways to partner with them and their students.
